Allison Jones Head Volleyball Coach
Allison Jones has been selected as the new head women’s volleyball coach at William Jewell College in Liberty, Mo.
Jones, who received her B.A. from William Woods University and her M.S. from Northwest Missouri State University, has a strong volleyball background that includes a successful playing career at William Woods University, where she played volleyball four years and was 20th in the NAIA national stats in “Passing Percentage.” After graduation she coached volleyball, softball and basketball at Westminster College for five years. She was also the head volleyball coach for five years at Washburn University, a NCAA Div. II program.
During the fall of 2003, Jones was the head volleyball coach at Norborne (Mo.) High School. She and her husband, Dave, have a year-old son, Kadan; they live in Waverly, Mo. Jones can be reached at 816-415-5961
Assisant Volleyball Coach Mary Kay Lile
Was the head volleyball coach at Notre Dame de Sion from 1999-2003. Career record was 135-33-4. During that time, Sion took 4 trips to the State Tournament two 3rd place finishes, a second place finish and a State Championship in 2001. Was named Coach of the year by the Missouri State Volleyball Coaches Association in 2001. Played professional volleyball in the National Volleyball League in 1998 for the Kansas City Lightning. Played 9 years with Power Angle USA volleyball club. The team finished top three in 8 open National Championships, including a runner-up finish in the 1995 and 1997. At the USA Outdoor National Championships, we finished second in both 1993 and 1995. Coached club volleyball with Power Angle/TeamKC/ and OZ for the past 10 years. Played College volleyball at MU and UMKC gaining All American honors at UMKC.
