Blake Ryan, a senior midfielder from William Jewell, has earned Men’s Soccer Player of the Week in the Heart of America Athletic Conference. Ryan scored two goals and tallied three assists in helping William Jewell to two victories this week. The Kansas City, Missouri native had the game-winning goal vs. #10 Hastings College and then scored a goal and three assists against conference rival Culver-Stockton.

Men’s Soccer Player of the Week – Blake Ryan, William Jewell College
Columbia, Mo. – Blake Ryan, a senior midfielder for the William Jewell Cardinals, is the Region V Player of the Week in men’s soccer for Sept. 5-11. Ryan led his squad to two shutout victories last week, including a 2-0 win over No. 10 Hastings College (Neb.). Versus Hastings, the Kansas City, Mo. native knocked in the game-winner, and in a 6-0 win over Heart of America and Region V foe Culver-Stockton College (Mo.), Ryan put in a goal and chipped in three assists.
