Federal Parent Loan - (Cost of attendance minus other financial aid)
Not need-based, based on credit worthiness. A Federal Parent Loan Application/Promissory Note is required. Parents can apply online and have the credit check performed within minutes. Alternative Loans - (Varies)

Home Equity Loans are an excellent source of financing for families with equity in their homes. For details, contact your lender. Generally interest paid on Home Equity Loans qualifies as an itemized tax deduction reducing the after-tax rate to one that is usually lower than the alternate financing options.
