The following are Departmental Awards offered at William Jewell College:

Oxbridge Honors Award - $9,000 You must be accepted into the Oxbridge Honors Program. (This award is inclusive of your William Jewell College academic scholarships and gift aid eligibility.)

The Marian Greene Education Fellowship - Eight quarter-tuition scholarships
This competitive scholarship is awarded to eight first-year students majoring in education. The scholarship is given in addition to previously awarded academic scholarships, but replaces any need-based grant shown on an estimate. Deadline to submit Marian Greene Application: January 31.

Participation Awards - (varies) Based upon a student's participation in certain academic departments' co-curricular activities (e.g., music, debate, journalism, theatre, telecommunication, athletics, and art). It is required that you make contact with the appropriate program director or coach before an award can be offered.

Dilts Award - $500 Awarded to one student who wishes to major in Biology and participate in undergraduate research during the first year. Requirements: 3.75 GPA or higher and an ACT or SAT in top 90th percentile (27 ACT 1300 SAT).
