| Summary: | |
Responsible for facilitating connections between prospective students, faculty staff and alumni. Primary responsibilities including managing all aspects of campus visits and off-campus events. The Coordinator counsels students from all recruitment territories, and directs the Alumni Recruitment program and the Events Team. |
|
Duties and Responsibilities: |
|
- Counsel students from all recruitment territories.
- Develop and coordinate strategies to improve event participation.
- Coordinate and facilitate all aspects of the personal campus visit.
- Report presentation problems with the office or campus to the Dean.
- Work with counseling staff to organize off-campus recruitment events.
- Coordinate with the institutional calendar and secondary school calendar to find the best opportunities for campus visit days.
- Work with the marketing office on developing 3 visit brochures each year.
- Report on a number of demographics concerning campus visits each week.
- Create and administrate special event checklists.
- Hire, train and supervise student Blazers and overnight hosts.
- Work with the Office of Alumni to ensure all children of alumni are in the admission database.
- Identify alumni who are secondary school teachers and provide opportunities for student referrals.
- Build the alumni recruitment team and supply student names for alumni to call three times a year.
- Target alumni who can represent the institution at “college fairs” or in the churches.

| Knowledge,Skills, and Abilities: |
|
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Five years of directly related experience strongly preferred.
- Solid Computer systems experience.
- Hold service in high regard.
- Actively support the Office of Admission mission statement, and the WJC mission statement.
- Committed to a team approach with a student-centered philosophy.
- Extraordinary communication and interpersonal skills.
