The William Jewell College Intramurals Program is designed to offer students a safe, fun, and competitive variety of sporting events throughout the year.
The program operates out of the Student Affairs office. Contact the Director of Student Activities, ext. 5231, for more details.
Intramural Events for 2003-2004 include three seasons of sports. In the fall, there are co-ed softball and men’s and women’s flag football leagues, as well as a golf tournament and a kickball tournament. In the winter, there are men’s and women’s basketball and a co-ed volleyball league, as well as wrestling and indoor ultimate frisbee tournaments. In the Spring, there are co-ed sand volleyball and men’s and women’s soccer leagues, as well as a golf tournament and dodgeball tournament.
Schedules and other information for leagues and tournaments will be posted in the Union on the Intramural Board as well as on the website. Locations for each event will also be posted.
Prizes will be awarded for each event, and points will be tallied throughout the year, with an end-of-year Intramurals Champion highlighted for recognition.
