Campus Life: KWJC Radio (91.9 FM)
KWJC is William Jewell's completely student-operated radio station. Kansas City's only modern rock station, KWJC broadcasts in stereo on 91.9 FM with a power of 250 watts. The station is Arbitron-rated in the Kansas City market, the 30th largest in the country.
You will have diverse opportunities for management, marketing, announcing, music development, audio production and more at KWJC including hands-on experience using state-of-the-art digital production facilities. Specific programming features a diverse array of student-produced music and specialty shows, William Jewell and Liberty High School sports broadcasts, and remote broadcasts of special appearances and William Jewell events.
