Biochemistry
Biochemistry provides a unique opportunity for you to take courses that address the interface between the fields of biology and chemistry. This interdisciplinary course of study serves as a foundation for careers involving the application of biochemical processes, including graduate study in medicine (Pre-Med program), biochemistry, chemistry, molecular biology and biomedical industries.
If you are interested in a Pre-Medicine program, the biochemistry major (Bachelor of Arts degree) combines the biology and chemistry courses with a liberal arts background that is ideal preparation for graduate programs in medicine.
