The Academic Achievement Center presents a welcoming atmosphere in which you can write, study and get assistance from study proctors. The staff can help you evaluate your academic habits and offer strategies in helping you sharpen your skills.
The mission of the Academic Achievement Center is to:
help all students at all ability levels to be able to learn at their optimum;
enhance students' writing and study abilities so they can achieve individual goals as well as the college's academic goals;
provide a place and climate in which students feel comfortable receiving educated assessments of their work;
and provide trained and experienced proctors--both peer and professional--who are eager to assist each student's respective needs.
